Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire developer with hands-on experience in Java, NodeJS, GraphQL, and Webservices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing unit tests and increasing code coverage, as well as experience in Business Driven Development.

  • Develop and implement Guidewire solutions using Out-of-the-Box or custom solutions.
  • Participate in business workshops and provide technical guidance on changes.
  • Estimate work effort and review other developers' efforts in the team.
  • Work with Technical Lead and Architect for technical guidance.
  • Prepare technical documentation for code and design changes, completing Guidewire integration changes.
  • Share technical inputs on dependencies with other integration work streams.
  • Complete design, develop code, unit test code, document, and deploy code into the appropriate environment.
  • Establish best practices and guidelines for development.
  • Mentor and help other technical developers in the team.
  • Coordinate and perform integration testing with QA and other dependent teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Guidewire, Core Java, and REST API technologies.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Guidewire.
  • Good P&C insurance experience.
