Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our finance team in Sydney CBD. This role will involve owning the month-end close and driving accuracy in financial reporting, leading on lease accounting and capital expenditures, supporting internal controls and external audit requirements, partnering with senior leaders and teams to ensure budgets and forecasts are on track, driving automation and process improvements across finance, and providing expert accounting guidance, training, and support to the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the month-end close and driving accuracy in financial reporting
  • Leading on lease accounting and acting as the capital expenditures specialist
  • Supporting internal controls and external audit requirements
  • Partnering with senior leaders, IT, and Transformation teams to ensure budgets and forecasts are on track
  • Driving automation and process improvements across finance
  • Providing expert accounting guidance, training, and support to the wider business
Requirements
  • CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years' financial accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and compliance
  • Experience in statutory reporting, audit, and treasury support
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
  • A proactive, collaborative, and solution-focused approach
