Job Description

Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning efforts. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans for various initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, with experience in designing and delivering research and/or evaluation projects in relation to health problems. They will be skilled in using a range of quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as communicating research/evaluation results to a variety of audiences.

Additionally, the candidate should have a demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve problems, work collaboratively with internal teams, and communicate effectively across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in public/population health, psychology, medical research and/or evaluation, implementation science or a related health discipline.
  • Skilled and experienced in designing and delivering research and/or evaluation projects in relation to health problems.
  • Skilled and experienced in monitoring and/or evaluation end-to-end project management (~10 years).
  • Skilled and experienced in supporting internal individuals and teams from non-research or evaluation functional areas to understand and value MEL work.
  • Skilled and experienced in the development of Theory of Change / Program Logics.
