About the Role:

The Sporting Globe Bar and Grill, renowned as Australia's premier sports bar and grill, is seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to oversee our revitalized venue in Richmond. Our establishment combines live sports entertainment with casual dining, creating an energetic atmosphere for sports fans and diners alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all operations within the venue, ensuring smooth restaurant and bar functions.
  • Assist the Venue and Assistant Venue Manager with daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage front-of-house operations effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and Food Hygiene standards through regular audits.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance sales and revenue while managing costs.
  • Deliver exceptional service and quality to create memorable guest experiences.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and lead by example as a senior member of the restaurant team.
  • Stay informed about market trends and leverage your skills to execute promotional and marketing initiatives.
  • Strategically drive revenue growth through effective management of food, beverage, and customer service.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years in Hospitality Management.
  • Experience in both bar and restaurant settings.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry with a focus on sales.
  • Understanding of financial management within a business context.
  • Possession of an RSA certificate.
