
Deployment Coordinator

In this pivotal position, you will drive release management activities for a leading organization.
- Planning: As the key contact for planning releases across teams, you will track parallel changes and dependencies with respective upstream and downstream teams and their project managers. This involves monitoring progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure smooth execution.
- Tracking: Monitor release readiness activities, manage the signoff of delivery acceptance certificates, and coordinate deployment run sheets to guarantee timely and successful deployments.
- Implementation Planning: Collaborate with technical teams to carefully plan and sequence implementation steps, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed within established timelines. Your focus should be on delivering high-quality outcomes that meet business objectives.
- Change Management: Work with involved teams to raise Change Requests in Service Now and participate in CAB (Application) approvals to ensure seamless integration of new features and services.
- Resource Alignment: Arrange relevant technical and business team member participation in releases, prepare rosters, and engage stakeholders during implementation to foster a culture of collaboration and open communication.
- Risk Management: Identify risks, collaborate with stakeholders for remediation, and manage escalations to key stakeholders to mitigate potential threats to project success.
- Closure: Close changes with updates in Service Now, update key artifacts, and conduct Post-implementation Reviews (PIR) to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
