Job Summary

This role oversees software deployments to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality releases. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, coordinate every stage of the release lifecycle, and drive continuous improvements to our release processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage detailed release plans, define scope and timelines, and ensure coordination across multiple teams.
  • Act as the release liaison between engineering, testing, operations, and business stakeholders to guarantee seamless integration and deployment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technical failures, security vulnerabilities, and potential business disruptions.
  • Keep internal and external stakeholders informed with regular updates on release status, potential issues, and changes.
  • Champion adherence to quality standards and ensure that releases comply with internal policies and established procedures.
  • Monitor the success of each release, collect feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with DevOps team to leverage and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Own and update comprehensive release documentation, including deployment plans, runbooks, and retrospectives.
Requirements
  • Experience managing complex release cycles and showing measurable improvements in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with common CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins with Azure.
  • Knowledge of database deployment practices, including dacpacs, is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with testing tools like Cypress, Postman/Bruno, and Rainforest QA.
  • Understanding of logging and observability tools, particularly Elastic (ELK Stack).
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across globally distributed teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
