Tower Assembly and Erection Supervisor
This role is part of a major high voltage electricity transmission project in regional NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the assembly and erection of towers as part of this project.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of technicians and engineers to assemble and erect towers in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently, within budget and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent high-quality outcomes.
- 5 years' experience in a similar role with a strong background in tower assembly and erection.
- Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g. electrical, mechanical).
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.
- Extensive experience in construction quality assurance and control.
- Knowledge of Australian and International Standards, including ISO 9001:2015.
- Previous experience in quality assurance and control roles in the renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality systems and processes.
