Risk and Assurance Specialist Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to secure a pivotal role in risk management. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering high-quality risk services in the aged and disability sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead, support and strengthen the three lines of defense model within our organization
  • Promote ongoing continuous improvement across services in alignment with quality and risk management systems
  • Provide analysis and reports on the adequacy and effectiveness of operational risk management
  • Assist in monitoring the Three Lines of Defence and wider assurance functions
  • Support the revision of policy and procedures relating to risk and assurance functions
Key Qualifications:
  • Degree in health, business or related field or experience working in a similar role in the health sector
  • Certificate IV in Compliance and Risk Management and/or Diploma in Quality Auditing
  • Strong working knowledge of risk, compliance and assurance management
  • Working knowledge of aged care reform agenda, Aged Care and related health care standards
