Tax Manager

As a Tax Manager - Global Sustainability Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the completion of key tax compliance activities and contributing to the company's commitment to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of the consolidated income tax return for Brambles Ltd tax consolidated group, including complex controlled foreign company (CFC) attributable income calculations.
- Assist with the preparation or review of income tax provision calculations.
- Assist with the review of indirect tax and fringe benefits tax matters for Australia and New Zealand.
- Prepare income tax return and provisional tax calculations for New Zealand.
- Undertake research and prepare detailed file notes to support and document tax positions.
- Assist with the maintenance of Brambles tax risk management framework and tax processes and procedures.
- Extensive liaison with finance and tax team members globally.
- Tertiary qualifications in Tax, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related area.
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
- Corporate tax experience in a Big 4/Tier A accountancy firm.
- A strong understanding of tax consolidation, income tax, and tax effect accounting for large corporates.
- Experience with complex foreign corporate tax issues for Australian multinationals including CFC matters.
- Demonstrate expertise in income tax, GST, and FBT return preparation.
- Proven experience in undertaking tax compliance work (both direct and indirect tax).
- The ability to communicate, collaborate and influence multiple stakeholders across a global organisation.
