We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Investa. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing tax risks for the Group through accurate and timely tax compliance, reporting, and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Group's tax compliance obligations, including quarterly and annual distribution calculations, income tax returns, and tax provision workings.
- Provide tax advisory services, including annual testing of Managed Investment Trust (MIT) status, thin capitalisation, and GST issues.
- Develop and maintain tax process documentation, and assist with internal/external audit of tax controls.
- Manage tax compliance budget and payment of associated invoices, and assist with periodic reporting on tax risk.
- Degree qualified in Economics/Commerce and/or Law, with majors in Accounting and Taxation Law.
- Strong trust tax experience, including AMIT, MIT, distribution resolutions, and WHT.
- Must have corporate tax experience, including income tax, tax provisions, GST, and FBT.
- Understanding of international tax issues, including thin capitalisation, transfer pricing, and SGE/CbCR.
- Must have experience in managing tax compliance deadlines for a large volume of entities.
