Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in Virginia. As a key member of the Project Management Office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in coordinating projects within complex organizations and possess exceptional multi-tasking, prioritization, and communication skills.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the on-boarding of new staff, providing access to necessary information and systems;
  • Undertaking procurement activities and maintaining vendor relationships;
  • Utilizing ERP systems for financial activities, including purchase requisitions and invoice processing;
  • Managing and reviewing project documentation, resource plans, and reports;
  • Conducting resourcing analysis and highlighting items for attention to Project Managers;
  • Ensuring accuracy of resource reports and checking timesheets against cost codes;
  • Providing administrative support for effective program governance;
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders to meet objectives and milestones;
  • Offering back-up support to Project Coordinators, including financial forecasting and scheduling.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in coordinating projects within complex organizations;
  • Exceptional multi-tasking, prioritization, and communication skills;
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation abilities;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and eDRMS (Objective);
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Innovative thinking with a continuous improvement mindset;
  • Experience with SAP systems and Agile methodologies.
