Course Adviser Role

The role of a Course Adviser is pivotal in helping students navigate their academic journey. As the trusted advisor, you will be responsible for guiding candidates through course options and enrolment procedures.

You will encourage potential students to enroll in our courses, many of whom are seeking a change in direction or a new career pathway. This role works closely with a team and provides opportunities for professional growth and development.

This is a permanent, full-time position with flexibility in work hours. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although occasional adjustments may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing timely responses and follow-ups on enquiries from prospective students via phone/email.
  • Building relationships with course enquirers while developing positive communication and dialogue.
  • Encouraging enrolment using a consultative, need-based approach.
  • Achieving Key Performance Areas (KPAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while meeting customer needs.
About You:

We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who loves inspiring students about the career opportunities in their chosen program. Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a course advisory role or equivalent experience in other sales-based positions.
  • Experience in a student services or telephone-based role within an education provider or Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in utilising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage external client relationships.
