Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Workshop Fitter Machinist to perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner.

This role requires a mechanically minded person with excellent attention to detail, who is self-motivated and adaptable.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in fitting and machining, with experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment. A Certificate II in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent qualification would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and recondition driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off-highway, and industrial applications.
  • Machine driveline components.
  • Assemble, weld, and balance driveshafts.
  • Perform general workshop duties as required.

As a Workshop Fitter, you will report to the Branch Manager and work collaboratively with a team of experienced tradespeople.
