About this Embedded Systems Opportunity:

  • Develop embedded software for safety-critical Traffic Signal Controllers, following SIL2 (IEC 61508 / ISO 26262) guidelines.

This role is ideal for a skilled engineer with experience in real-time controls systems and a solid foundation in digital electronics and I/O design.

In this position, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide innovative solutions for our customers.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing algorithms for conflict monitoring, phase control, and lamp monitoring, as well as collaborating with hardware engineers on fault-tolerant digital interfaces.

Additionally, you will lead system integration across MCUs, SoCs, and RTOSs, develop and execute debug code to verify designs and customer requirements, and implement communication protocols for roadside devices and central system integration.

This role requires strong C programming skills, a deep understanding of digital electronics and I/O design, and familiarity with protocols and standards in the traffic and transport domain.
