Logistics Lead Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Lead to join our National Logistics and Supply Chain team based in Archerfield QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing large scale improvements in the supply chain function, strengthening our ability to achieve and exceed strategic objectives.

This role offers a hybrid arrangement with flexibility to work from home, providing a great balance between office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimise the Supply Network: Develop and implement a supply network balance that meets customer and market requirements while achieving business performance.
  • Streamline Processes: Implement efficient processes leveraging technology platforms to enhance site operations and the experience for internal and external customers.
  • Vendor Management: Effectively manage relationships with key logistics vendors to facilitate complex supply chain requirements and commercial arrangements.
  • Supply Chain Best Practices: Provide coaching and mentoring on supply chain best practice to operations and functional team members.

  • Influencing Leader: Engaging leader focused on delivering creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Negotiation Skills: Superior influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Sales Strategy: Demonstrated experience in developing effective supply chain solutions and strategies for best practice at a national level.
