International Import Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized International Import Coordinator to join our team. This key role will be responsible for ensuring seamless import operations across global supply chains.

As an International Import Coordinator, you will play a critical part in managing end-to-end import processes, working closely with suppliers, freight partners, customs brokers, and internal teams.

  • Manage the entire import process from start to finish
  • Develop and maintain 12-month shipping schedules and align freight bookings with business timelines
  • Ensure all deliveries meet DIFOT expectations
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure accurate SSCC data and compliant shipping documents
  • Work with customs brokers to verify tariff classifications and declarations
  • Proactively identify and resolve delays or discrepancies

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in international shipping, logistics, or a similar import coordination role
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs law, and global freight operations
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proactive mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with AP21 and WMS highly valued
