Job Overview
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting health services in a dynamic team environment.
You will assess patients' needs and set priorities accordingly, initiating treatment for minor injuries and illnesses under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing outpatient assessment and health promotion services to patients
- Assessing patients' needs and setting priorities accordingly
- Initiating treatment for minor injuries and illnesses under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- 2 years full-time post-registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent) in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting
- Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
