Contract Administrator Role

This role is responsible for managing contracts and overseeing the administration of projects.

The successful candidate will have experience in contract management, commercial administration and a strong understanding of project finance.

They will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities include preparing tender package documentation, liaising with site teams, maintaining registers of notices and managing contracts.

Additionally, they will ensure procurement schedules are developed to reflect delivery requirements, promptly attend to and manage claims/disputes and refer to Commercial Manager as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law or equivalent
  • Post graduate qualifications e.g. graduate certificate, graduate diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Business, Construction, Property, Quantity Surveying, Law or other associated disciplines
  • Relevant commercial administration experience in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or associated disciplines
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in relevant software packages such as Microsoft Suite (including Excel) and exposure to a contract management system
  • Experience with a variety of project values and complexity
  • Understanding of document control experience in accordance with records management procedures
  • Interpret and apply relevant legislation/code on the project to prevent potential business exposure
