We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to partner with key practice groups – Corporate, Digital & IP, and Technology, Media & Telecommunications – to develop strategies that strengthen client relationships, win new work, and support impactful national initiatives.

About the Role:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor strategic business development plans to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Lead client relationship strategies, including client engagement programs and delivering on commitments to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage tenders, credentials, and industry directory submissions to position the firm as a leading player in the market.
  • Support major projects and events that strengthen the firm's profile and client engagement.
  • Identify opportunities across practice groups and industries to cross-promote capabilities and drive growth.
  • Cultivate and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and expertise.

About You:

  • Proven experience in business development within legal or professional services (essential).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work collaboratively with senior partners and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating complex ideas into clear, compelling messages.
  • Highly organised, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborative approach with passion for continuous improvement and learning.
