**Job Title:** Refugee Counsellor
**About the Role:**">

We are seeking a skilled Refugee Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our community health service, you will provide high-quality counselling services to clients with a refugee or asylum seeker background.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline, and at least 2 years' experience working with members of the Refugee and Asylum Seeker Communities.

You will be responsible for delivering effective assessment, counselling, and advocacy services to clients who have experienced complex trauma.

Key responsibilities include:">

  1. Delivering high-quality counselling services to clients with a refugee or asylum seeker background;
  2. Providing assessments, care planning, service coordination, and writing case notes and reports;
  3. Documented experience in counselling/therapy for persons who have experienced complex trauma, mental health, and settlement problems associated with the refugee experience;
  4. Demonstrating knowledge and sensitivity in provision of support and counselling services for people from CALD backgrounds;
  5. Outlining your experience using technology to complete daily work tasks;
