We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dining Support Services Associate to join our team at Loretto. As a key member of our facilities and dining services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our residents.
Responsibilities- Maintain the facility and environment in a clean, safe, and orderly manner for resident comfort and convenience.
- Clean furnishings, fixtures, windows, mirrors, appliances, and floors, as well as perform other cleaning and disinfecting tasks as assigned.
- Organize closets and drawers, make beds, and straighten residents' apartments as needed.
- Handle clean and dirty linen appropriately and set up safety signs as required.
- Use proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions and store them per policy.
- Dispose of waste and trash into proper containers and reline containers as necessary.
- Ensure the dining area and kitchen are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Load and unload soiled dishes, trays, and other ware into and out of the wash machine.
- Maintain assigned areas according to schedule and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to a supervisor promptly.
- Replenish supplies as needed and follow work and cleaning schedules as outlined.
- Keep work areas free of hazardous objects and equipment and store cleaning supplies and equipment safely.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Ability to follow simple verbal and written directions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours or duration of shift.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies.
