About the Job:

  • You will be responsible for providing support to our Procurement Team in purchasing production/project material requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to the team in purchasing production/project material requirements across our Manufacturing & Maintenance sites, to ensure goods are available at the required time and place and meet quality requirements and specifications.
  2. Support the team in the supply of materials, chasing up where required and maintaining communication between all parties regarding any changes/variances.
  3. Record and report any non-conformance, quality issues, and delivery problems.
  4. Expedite orders with suppliers as per UGL process and raise all necessary transactions in the procurement system and documentation.
  5. Update the purchasing system with accurate information, including but not limited to ETA, pricing, and lead times.
  6. Support and coordinate the procurement process from requisition to purchase order.
  7. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
