Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our high-volume production operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Chef de Cuisine and assisting with leading the team, ensuring consistency in high-quality product and service standards.

The Star Gold Coast has undergone a remarkable evolution since 2014, creating an unparalleled experience for guests. They indulge in lavish stays at five-star hotel rooms, opulent suites, and pioneering hotels.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfaction
  • Participate in menu preparation
  • Develop training plans and support daily learning
  • Participate in shift briefings for smooth handovers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Senior Chef experience required in a production or events operation
  • Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for diverse food and continuous learning
  • Previous knowledge of food and labour cost controls
  • Basic computer skills essential
  • Full working rights for 40 hours a week, including day shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
