As a key member of the GFG Alliance team in Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Partner to support the Chief Financial Officer in all strategic and finance activities across Mining and Primary Steel (MPS). This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the CFO and contribute to the growth and development of our business in a dynamic and changing environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth
  • Collaborating with senior leaders to identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and presentations to the CFO and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of annual plans and budgets
  • Working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

You will be someone who has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and flexible environment. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Post-qualification experience in a large corporate, mining or professional accounting services firm
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite
  • Proven skills in financial analysis and reporting
  • Strong financial and business acumen
