Corporate Lawyer

We are seeking a talented Corporate Lawyer to join our team. This role is based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide corporate, commercial and financial services legal advice and governance advice to all businesses.
  • Review marketing material to ensure legal compliance.
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts.
  • Offer insurance product advice and documentation.
  • Provide statutory interpretation and advice on legislative reform impacting business.
  • Support litigation and provide legal advice on complaints and potential disputes.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications (LLB or equivalent).
  • A current legal practising certificate – mandatory.
  • Minimum 3 years' post qualification experience in a mid or top-tier firm.
  • Private practice experience in providing commercial legal advice.
  • Previous experience working in an insurance and/or Australian financial services environment.
