About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to oversee the full end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including services such as production consumables, equipment, and temporary labour.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies to achieve cost savings, reduce risk, and increase operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing initiatives to secure optimal contract terms and pricing.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of procurement initiatives.
  3. Contract Management: Provide expert advice and guidance on contract management matters, overseeing and managing existing supplier relationships, contract performance, and compliance.
  4. Project Delivery: Drive transformational procurement projects from initiation to completion, delivering significant business impact.

Requirements:

">
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving cost savings and commercial benefits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly developed commercial acumen.
  • Confident in managing multiple projects.
  • Resilient, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
