Job Title: Sustainability Governance Manager

The role of a Sustainability Governance Manager is crucial in shaping the organization's culture, sparking conversations, and connecting communities.

As a key member of the Data, Product & Technology - Enterprise team, you will play a pivotal part in our responsible data and AI strategy.

  • Implement frameworks that support innovation while ensuring ethical standards and privacy protections.
  • Support management of key data assets, ensuring quality and integrity.
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new projects to ensure compliance with the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Responsibilities:

  1. Embed a 'Privacy-by-Design' culture across teams and contribute to training programs.
  2. Identify and mitigate risks related to data privacy and AI use.

Requirements:

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in data privacy, governance, or technology risk.
  • Practical understanding of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and APPs.
  • Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in media, entertainment, advertising, or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with data governance roles and cloud platforms like Google Cloud.
