Job Description

We are seeking a senior professional to lead our internal audit team. As the key player in this role, you will oversee the development and maintenance of cutting-edge internal audit practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the strategy for conducting complex audits and reviews across various departments.

As a seasoned leader, you will promote awareness among senior management regarding significant business events and associated risks that impact organizational systems and processes. You will also provide strategic direction on policy and planning issues affecting the organization and advise senior management on opportunities for improvement.

Key responsibilities include co-ordinating the development and maintenance of contemporary internal audit and consultancy practices, undertaking and providing leadership and strategy for complex audits and reviews, raising awareness among senior management regarding impacts of significant business events, initiatives and associated risks, and providing high-level leadership and management supervision.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional membership in the Institute of Internal Auditors, Certified Practising Accountants Australia, or Chartered Accountant;
  • Qualifications from an overseas accounting body recognised by at least two of the above bodies as having equivalent membership;
  • Certified Internal Auditor or member of the Institute of Internal Auditors considered highly desirable.
