Job Title: Internal Audit Manager

This role is a great opportunity to take on a leadership position in our organization and contribute to our governance objectives.

You will report to the Global Manager, Legal Compliance & Internal Audit, and lead and manage the Internal Audit function. You will work closely with all departments within the business, globally.

Your key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with applicable governance objectives and standards, as well as Bradken's own internal policies and procedures.

Key activities will include planning, aligning, managing and conducting assessments, investigations and internal compliance and governance audits based on group requirements and risk assessments.

You will document your audit findings to clearly identify the issues, the potential impacts, and the root causes, and provide practical recommendations to senior management.

You are good at time management and will ensure that working papers, draft audit reports, and other deliverables meet appropriate standards.

You will monitor the close-out of outstanding audit actions and timely completion of agreed remedial actions by management.

You will coordinate and cooperate with other internal assurance providers and external auditors.

You will assist the business by providing training as required in all aspects of audit, risk, and compliance.

You will provide effective and inspirational leadership of a professional internal audit team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
  • Substantial internal audit experience
  • A sound understanding of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
