About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance and support activities for technical equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, test, analyze, and diagnose technical equipment
  • Maintain and repair technical equipment
  • Provide updates on maintenance and fault-finding on equipment
  • Generate and complete work orders as directed using the approved Maintenance Management System
  • Operate PC-21 Simulators
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong aptitude in IT or electronics and an interest in Aviation, or those with extensive software or trade skills associated with the operation and maintenance of electronic-based systems and equipment.

  • Ability to follow structured operational maintenance plans to meet maintenance, operational, and quality objectives
  • Computer literacy with an ability to analyze and interpret maintenance information
  • Basic to intermediate skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications
  • Understanding of WHS and security application and responsibilities
  • Experience in the use of a Maintenance Management System
  • Demonstrated ability to use engineering change control/configuration management systems highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications (Certificate III or above) in a relevant discipline (electronics, electrical, mechanical engineering from a recognized institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry)
