Overview

An Employment Facilitator will work with participants to explore career goals, build confidence, and connect them with employment opportunities while collaborating with employers to create inclusive hiring solutions.


About The Role

You'll work side-by-side with participants to understand strengths and aspirations, provide tailored coaching, link to opportunities, and collaborate with employers to open doors. You'll also work with employers to understand business needs and provide staffing solutions that fit, including training and promoting inclusive hiring practices, maintaining records, and driving engagement through proactive networking.


Key Responsibilities
  • Source and create sustainable job opportunities, matching clients to suitable roles.
  • Promote workforce diversity by championing inclusive employment for people with disability, injury or health conditions.
  • Engage with businesses to address skill shortages through role adaptation and inclusive recruitment strategies.
  • Broker work experience to enhance participant skills and align employer/client interests.
  • Prep workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate training to boost disability awareness and inclusion among employers.
  • Build employer networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider helping people achieve career goals.
  • Meet performance benchmarks.
  • Advocate for the values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
  • Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Valid Driver's License - required
