Operations Readiness Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Readiness Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational readiness, with experience in managing the delivery of brownfield projects and ensuring that systems are ready for safe and reliable start-up.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is strategically agile, results-driven, composed under pressure, and skilled in planning and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operational readiness delivery portfolio of brownfield projects
  • Track readiness deliverables including spare parts lists, asset registers, O&M manuals, and vendor documentation
  • Liaise between commissioning and operations teams to identify and address operational requirements
  • Provide documentation, training, and support to ensure teams are prepared to operate and maintain systems
  • Participate in system walkdowns and punch list resolution
  • Drive continuous improvement and embed risk-based approaches in all project phases
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical & Instrumentation)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mineral processing or heavy industrial plants, with at least 2 years in operational readiness
  • Proficient in SAP (PM, MM) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Australian engineering and construction practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
