Senior Policy Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Policy Advisor to support our campaigns, influence decision makers and drive positive change for consumers.

The ideal candidate will have strong policy research skills, experience in the public service or NGO sector, and the ability to write clear and concise submissions and reports.

  • Support and help build credible campaigns that make a real difference
  • Provide consumer policy expertise for campaign strategies and content across our organisation
  • Monitor media and legislative developments affecting consumers to identify advocacy opportunities
  • Conduct research and analysis on priority issues
  • Coordinate meetings and events with policymakers, regulators, businesses and other stakeholders, and represent us at these meetings where appropriate
