As the Consumer Resolution Advocate, you will be responsible for managing and resolving legally escalated customer complaints, with a focus on matters arising under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You will play a key part in mitigating legal risk and preserving brand goodwill through strategic dispute resolution, working closely with the General Counsel and Customer Experience team.

- Communicate directly with customers, their legal representatives, and other external stakeholders regarding disputed matters
- Draft formal correspondence and legal submissions articulating Hyundai's position in response to tribunal claims
- Represent Hyundai as an advocate in consumer tribunals (e.g., NCAT, VCAT, QCAT), including attending proceedings, presenting arguments, and responding to tribunal inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all active and resolved cases, including timelines, correspondence, and outcomes
- Engage with internal departments (e.g. Legal, Warranty, Product Quality) to gather technical information and coordinate responses
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on ACL-related risks and resolution strategies
- Identify patterns or recurring issues in customer complaints that may indicate broader legal or reputational risks
- Recommend proactive measures to reduce exposure to class actions or systemic claims
