Ares Wealth Management Solutions (WMS) Australia is a leading provider of alternative investment strategies to the Australian and New Zealand private wealth channels. We are seeking an experienced Associate, Sales and Product Support to join our team and play a key role in supporting our distribution efforts and management of our range of alternative strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a business development assistant for our senior business development managers, providing support and guidance to help drive business growth and development.
  • Assist with client review processes and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) across our full range of products, ensuring seamless client experiences and high-quality service delivery.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key platforms and clients, building strong partnerships and driving business growth.
  • Support the product management of Australian unit trusts, owning reporting processes and data requests, and maintaining product collateral.
  • Conduct competitor analysis across asset classes covered by WMS Australia, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Assist in generating analysis and reports on sales activity and campaigns using our CRM tools, helping to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Support marketing efforts through running approval processes, developing collateral, and contributing to social media initiatives.
  • Assist the head of WMS Australia and New Zealand across strategic initiatives, providing support and guidance to help drive business growth and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field, with strong academic records.
  • 3-5 years of experience in distribution/business development and product management, with a proven track record of success in the private wealth or listed channels.
  • Proven ability to build relationships through active listening and delivering client service to the highest standards.
  • Ability to demonstrate a client-centric and outcome-focused mindset, with a strong attention to detail and impeccable integrity.
  • Excellent communication and written skills, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
