Support Specialist

We deliver quality support to individuals with disabilities across Australia.

This is an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Support Specialist to join our team. If you have experience working in the disability sector or as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop person-centred plans that meet the needs of NDIS participants.
  • Evaluate, create and implement evidence-based support strategies within complex support environments.
  • Collaborate with families, carers and other support providers to ensure individual plans reflect the goals and aspirations of participants.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with those who support participants in their lives, including family, carers and friends.
  • Advocate for best practice and model positive behaviour support.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Requirements:
  • Significant experience working in the NDIS framework and supporting individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviours.
  • Strong passion for supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Commitment to person-centred practice and reducing restrictive interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
