Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Centre Manager to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our shopping centre, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve centre performance and presentation
  • Manage and maintain positive relationships with retailers and other stakeholders
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, business plans, and monthly reports
  • Implement strategies to address retailer performance and provide recommendations to the Centre Manager
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
  • Manage and deliver casual and supplementary income, including vending, signage, and vacant shop income
  • Manage tenant arrears and high-risk tenants
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, including financial reporting
  • Ensure consistent retailer adherence to terms and conditions of leases
  • Prepare Lease Approval Forms (LAFs) for the Centre Manager to review and submit to the client
  • Ensure accuracy of the tenancy schedule
  • Adhere to the critical dates calendar and EOM check lists as set by the Centre Manager
  • Responsible for casual income administration
  • Maintain open communication with retailers, community stakeholders, and centre management staff

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Qld Real Estate Salesperson Certificate
  • Proven success in shopping centre management, with an in-depth knowledge of the retail sector
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and the ability to find win-win solutions
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior exposure to finance, budgeting, operations, contractor management, leasing, CML, and marketing
  • A tenacious attitude and the ability to accomplish only the very best outcomes
