**Role Overview**

The ICT Finance and Shared Services Manager is a key leadership position within the Enterprise Technology Branch. This role has overall responsibility for leading the development and coordination of departmental budget processes, including divisional and shared services.

This leader will oversee all operational and financial functions of the Enterprise Technology Branch, driving continuous improvement initiatives to deliver high-quality technology services across the department and Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement systems and processes supporting State Budget execution, ensuring consistency, transparency, and accountability.
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of departmental contributions to the State Budget process, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with government priorities and fiscal constraints.
  • Manage confidential information with high integrity and discretion, ensuring compliance with governance and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to government strategies, policies, and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary or post-graduate qualification in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of government budget processes, particularly within a health or public sector context.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and develop evidence-based insights.
  • Prior experience in leading a small team is considered advantageous.
