Treasury Manager

About the RoleThis role is responsible for overseeing HammondCare's treasury function, ensuring that all current and projected operational cash requirements are met while optimizing returns on excess funds.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize the use of funds in cash accounts, term deposits, and managed funds
- Manage loan drawdowns and repayments in line with agreed facilities with banks
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions
- Monitor and forecast daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash flows, including investment portfolios
- Prepare bank covenant reports and monthly treasury reports for senior management and the board
- Budgeting and forecasting: prepare formal cash flow forecasts as part of the planning cycle
- Journals and reconciliations related to the treasury function
- Prepare and lodge monthly BAS
- Commitment to HammondCare's Christian mission and values
- CPA or CA qualification
- Experience in a similar corporate role
- Strong stakeholder management approach
- Good communication skills
- Strong administrative and computer skills, with experience in SUN and Epicor systems an advantage
- Experience in the aged care sector an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
