About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Manager - Curriculum Development to join our team at The State of Queensland. As a key member of our Curriculum, Teaching and Learning (CTL) team, you will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of curriculum objectives and deliverables across Prep to Year 12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve curriculum objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide high-level advice and support to senior officers on policy and strategy related to state schooling.
  • Liaise with CTL teams and other branches to oversee and deliver interdepartmental and national priorities.
  • Build positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop advice and guidance for regions and state schools.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
