A leading civil contracting business, boasting over 30 years of trading history and a reputation for delivering exceptional results, is seeking an experienced SITE ENGINEER.

This dynamic role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing industry, where your expertise will be instrumental in driving project success.

  • You will work closely with the project manager to proactively plan, manage, coordinate, track and execute assigned tasks, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • With a focus on quality and compliance, you will provide project management services that meet the highest standards, balancing practicality, cost-effectiveness and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend meetings as necessary, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and relevant authorities.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, regulating bodies and authorities to ensure smooth coordination and effective management.
  • Prepare project take-offs, submit purchase orders as required, and ensure timely product and material organisation.
  • Undertake site inspections to maintain project efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare Variation Orders and forward them to the Project Manager as needed.
  • Continuously communicate with stakeholders to optimise project outcomes.
  • Perform all other duties as instructed to fulfill the role's requirements.
About You:
  • Possess a Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Hold a White card and current Driver's License.
  • Show a strong work ethic and motivation, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
  • Have experience working on land development/subdivision projects involving road construction, earthworks, drainage and underground services.
