The role of a Digital Supply Chain Specialist is crucial in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization's supply chain operations. This position involves working closely with stakeholders to understand the evolution of digital supply chain tools, analyzing their impact, identifying risks, and providing feedback to determine industry best practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for updating or contributing to the update of governance and guidance, training materials, and supply chain work processes. They will also provide insights on end-user adoption to ensure that digital supply chain tools meet requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver updated supply chain work processes and procedures in alignment with overall supply chain governances and instructions
  • Partner with sponsors, managers, leads, and project team members to gain an understanding of all aspects of change involved with digital supply chain tools
  • Train project personnel on digital supply chain tools and procedures
  • Track the status of project deliverables and milestones as it relates to systems configuration, implementation, and work execution
  • Escalate system/tool issues as necessary to the business unit DSC implementation manager or DSC corporate team
  • Create and update governance, instructions, training materials, etc. relative to digital supply chain in collaboration with other functional and discipline resources
  • Deliver updated supply chain work processes and procedures in alignment with overall supply chain governances and instructions
  • Provide insight to program management office and other committees regarding the status of end-user adoption
  • Report risks and issues that may impact the success of project planning and execution to the appropriate level in the organization
  • Work with both supply chain project team members and IS&T technical team members to communicate priorities of deployment activities, including coordination of production support critical issues

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Solid grasp of procurement, sourcing, and logistics to construction projects
  • Experience in working with agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in PowerBI
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interface with corporate teams in resolving issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support projects
