About This Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a State Manager to deliver on our promise of achieving exceptional participant experiences, inspiring teams and stakeholders to support each individual to realise their possibilities.

As a State Manager, you will oversee and lead operational teams, establishing and maintaining stakeholder engagement, and creating opportunities while ensuring services reflect participants' needs and deliver agreed outcomes for participants, their families, and the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring services are managed in alignment with our Vision, Strategic Priorities, and participants' needs
  • Providing influential leadership, direction, and supports to Service Managers, Team Leaders, and Support Staff
  • Establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, enhancing the Participants' experience of our services, and providing an opportunity for improved brand awareness
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of best practice evidence-based approaches to service delivery, particularly in relation to person-centered active support principles
  • Lead and manage the performance and development of all Managers and all DSW staff to meet day-to-day service delivery objectives and requirements, and strategic and operational objectives of our organisation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Disability Services or higher
  • Business Administration Qualification (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to operate in a safe, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of NDIS and the NDIA framework and STA, MTA, and SIL
  • Ability to work as part of a team within our ethos and values
  • Current Positive Notice/Blue Card
  • Current Positive Exemption Notice/Yellow Card
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, under the direction of Manager and independently as required
  • Willingness to understand and adapt to business transformation and organisational development
  • Digitally competent
