We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Pastry Chef to join our team at a revamped wholesale/retail bakery in the Limestone Coast.

Job Description

The successful candidate will support our bakery operations, establishing high-performing production processes to accommodate wholesale and retail baked goods. Your expertise in recipe development, quality control, and overall product excellence will be instrumental in shaping our menu and delighting our customers.

You will also be responsible for managing inventory, forecasting demand, and sourcing local ingredients to optimize our operations for efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recipes that meet our high-quality standards
  • Maintain accurate inventory management and demand forecasting systems
  • SOURCE LOCAL INGREDIENTS to ensure freshness and quality
  • Manage kitchen operations to achieve efficiency and sustainability goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
