Job Description

We are seeking experienced engineers to enhance Defence operational capability through the delivery of high-quality engineering services.

  • Working collaboratively within a project team to deliver maritime engineering solutions that improve the operational effectiveness of Defence maritime capabilities.
  • A comprehensive understanding of engineering requirements and practices in the Defence sector, with experience in delivering practical outcomes for clients.
  • The ability to lead, manage and execute complex Defence maritime projects, providing sound advice and solutions to dynamic engineering issues.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, with expertise in Defence writing standards and technical documentation requirements.
About You

Candidates will possess knowledge and experience in maintaining Australian Navy ships and Navy engineering practices. A commitment to problem-solving and a proactive attitude are essential, along with alignment with our purpose to 'Make Everyday Better'. Team-oriented individuals with strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to apply critical thinking while developing their careers are ideal.

Required qualifications include previous project experience within the Defence environment, relevant qualifications in engineering (electrical, mechanical, systems) with the ability to gain appropriate industry accreditation, and a current Australian Government security clearance at Baseline level or higher.
