Industrial Relations Specialist

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Industrial Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team at VMCH. As a key member of the People Services team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on employee relations matters within a complex industrial environment.
About the Role:
- Provide support to the Employee Relations Manager and the wider People Services team by offering guidance on employee relations matters.
- Develop frameworks and systems that promote sustainable industrial relations compliance.
- Interpret industrial instruments and provide necessary guidance.
- Ensure payroll processes align with relevant industrial instruments through audits.
- Support negotiations and the implementation of new enterprise agreements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective strategies for managing industrial relations.
- Conduct thorough analyses of industrial instruments to ensure compliance.
- Offer expert advice on complex business partnering matters and workplace investigations.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll processes and ensure alignment with industrial instruments.
- Negotiate and implement new enterprise agreements.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Human Resources or a related field.
- You have a few years of experience in a similar Industrial Relations advisory role or completed a graduate program with rotations in Human Resources and Finance.
- You possess strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have advanced data analysis skills.
