Job Opportunity:

The Strategic Planning Manager role at Australian Payments Plus is a key position that plays a vital part in shaping the future of payments for Australia. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for translating corporate goals into an enterprise scorecard that tracks meaningful outcomes.

This involves analysing data to align initiatives with organisational goals, developing measurement frameworks, and tracking performance against objectives to inform strategic decisions.

You will also provide analytical support and tailored solutions through stakeholder engagement, assist risk management by identifying risks and mitigation actions within governance frameworks, and conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements aligned with strategy.

Additionally, you will prepare reports and insights to support strategic communication and change initiatives, and manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate informed decision-making.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role across strategic/business planning, strategy, management consulting or finance.
  • Robust ability to provide advice and recommendations based on expertise and experience.
  • Ability to undertake basic risk management activities.
  • Proven experience to adopt a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities.
  • Ability to implement root cause analysis and identify recommendations for improvements.
  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Well-honed experience to apply standard techniques to analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to act as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
