Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $90,199.00 to $103,770.00 per annum, plus 15.4% superannuation (pro-rata for part-time employees). Job Description

As a District Office Supervisor, you will lead and supervise teams in regional offices, ensuring the delivery of operational outcomes in complex, dynamic environments. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Leading, instructing, motivating, briefing, mentoring, and supervising district office officers
  • Conducting routine border activities, managing day-to-day operations, and allocating work resources
  • Managing staff performance, including performance assessments, attendance monitoring, coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training
  • Providing technical advice on complex problems, making real-time decisions, and performing intervention activities
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, promoting WHS legislation compliance, and ensuring team members behave accordingly

Additional Information

This position requires a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC), and an Onboarding Check. You will also need to obtain and maintain Use of Force (UoF) Operational Readiness requirements, hold an ABF Use of Force (OST) permit, and complete First Aid courses. Familiarity with maritime systems and vessels is highly desirable.
