Lead Mechanical Maintenance Team

We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to oversee the mechanical maintenance activities of our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for leadership and technical expertise.

About the Role:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure smooth operation of mechanical maintenance activities.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of technicians and mechanics to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to deliver high-quality services and support.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Relevant supervisory and leadership experience in managing and developing people and teams.
  • Experience in a complex process industry and operations and maintenance environment.
  • Trade qualification or relevant industry experience.
  • Completion or progress toward Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalent.
  • Current 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
