Boiler Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Boiler Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our boiler systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain boilers to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Monitor coal usage, chemical controls, soot blowing, water softener tests, and blow-down procedures
  • Clean soot and maintain boiler performance to maximise efficiency
  • Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
  • Use strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently
  • Inform the maintenance supervisor of repairs and required maintenance
  • Work closely with the operations team to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members in a constructive and supportive environment
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with boilers or in a maintenance-related role
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn
